Minarex produced by Lube Oil Complex at Pertamina Cilacap Refinery is to meet processing oil demand at rubber industry, tyre and printing ink.The majority of the components are aromatic hydrocarbons,the rest is naphthaenic and paraffinic hydrocarbons.

 

As a processing aid in the tyre and rubber industry Minarex is a key component to:

  • Enchance softening and swelling process of rubber
  • Reduce viscosity of rubber compound.

As a secondary plastisizer in the PVC industry, Minarex is used as a substitute of DOP (Diocyl Phthlat) and give advantages such as:

  • To lower the viscosity
  • PVC molecule will flow at lower temperature than its melting point, which will improve the fluidety of PVC compound
  • Better compound homogenity
  • Better quality of finnished product in term of flexibility.
